Course Description

This course examines the principles and practice of nouthetic counseling, a distinctly biblical approach to addressing personal and spiritual issues. Rooted in the Greek word nouthesia, meaning “to admonish” or “to instruct,” nouthetic counseling emphasizes the sufficiency of Scripture for confronting sin, offering correction, and guiding individuals toward spiritual growth. Students will learn how to apply God’s Word with clarity, compassion, and conviction, helping others find lasting change.
